I hope Santa is good to you this year, and that all your wishes (materialistic or not) come true. Everyone deserves to be happy.
I took those pictures with my new fixed width lens from my Daddy. It might be my new favorite, although I’m still getting used to the way it focuses. I love the depth of field it gives me. Swooning over that bokeh.
I don’t want to get preachy. I’m not here to tell you who to appreciate or to embrace every moment before they’re gone forever. I think at this point, everyone knows what the holidays are about, and whether or not you chose to take advantage of the spirit is 100% up to you.
ANYWAY -(I don’t know where that Grinchy attitude came from…)
Here’s what my 4-day weekend agenda looks like:
Eat too much.
Drink too much.
Hang out at Shonn & Gena’s.
Hang out at Mike’s Mom’s.
Dance in my panties to Christmas carols.
Not move from the couch for upwards of 6 hours, save for the occasional trip to the kitchen and/or refrigerator.
Unbutton my jeans at the table.
Unwrap my presents like a child. None of this daintily folding up the wrapping paper crap. TEAR IT OPEN.
Eat some more.
Neglect the house work.
Watch shameless amounts of Netflix.
Make banana pudding.
Yep. You can start envying me now.
